About us

Opportunity to join a special Murri School team and perform an important role in the lives of our students and families. Located in Acacia Ridge, a southern suburb of Brisbane, QLD. The school is Preparatory to Year 12  and has a strong sense of community and culture aimed at preparing students to function positively in relating to people and land. We are seeking a Bus Driver to provide the safe and efficient transportation of students attending school each day.

The Murri School is currently seeking a part time Bus Driver 

About the position

• Immediate start

• Split shift, 25hrs per week- morning and afternoon shift

• Suit semi-retired or those looking for leisure time in the middle of the day

• Optional additional casual shifts for school excursions

• Enjoy extra holidays

This person will offer:

 Skills

• Clear driving history

• Driver authorisation from Queensland Transport

• Current driver license (MR or HR)

• School bus experience preferred

 Personal Characteristics

• Shows a strong commitment to deliver reliable service

• Be flexible and adapt in changing circumstances

• Work well with a team of teachers, school support staff and other community members to support the cultural and community life of the school.

• Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

• First Aid certificate
