The Role

You’ll take ownership of your own clients and be responsible for:

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns (Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts & SMSFs)

• BAS & IAS preparation, bookkeeping and STP payroll

• Managing client relationships and providing day-to-day advice

• Liaising with the ATO and ASIC

• Working across a broad range of industries

• Managing your own workflow and ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time

About You

• Experienced in public practice accounting

• Confident working independently and managing your own workload

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to see jobs through to completion

• Strong communication skills — you enjoy working with clients

• Proficient in Xero, MYOB and BGL (or similar)

• Motivated, reliable and ready to step into a senior role
