Clinical Psychologist/Psychologist/Clinical Registrar

Psychology 806 are looking for a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Registrar to join our busy private practice in Ballarat, a beautiful, heritage filled city. We are a family psychology practice with a special interest in providing services to children, adolescents and young adults. We have a very large referral base focused on Gold Standard Assessments and delivering best practice, with full diaries and a dynamic waitlist.

Psychology 806 is in need of a clinician looking for two to three days a week . We have the flexibility to be able to offer either a sub-contractor arrangement or employment as negotiated by you. The position can be 100% onsite or some part working from home as negotiated.

​Our mid size and welcoming team are experienced and dedicated to serving our community, offering specialist services including a range of assessments and treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions for mental health conditions. Training will be provided if needed. Group supervision is provided and enjoyed! We have a Registered Clinical Supervisor available for individual supervision if required.

We have a highly supportive ethos and a caring and professional administration team. There is 100% reception administrative/reception support provided. As all billing, invoicing, client bookings, reminders, debt collection, stationary supplies and IT support are provided for you, essentially you can just focus on your clinical practice. Our clinic is a calm and supportive environment with modern stylish rooms. We pride ourselves on being a group of Psychologists who support each other.

​The job would suit an ethical, professional and motivated clinician who is committed to working within a Regional environment. Must be eligible for endorsement and registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or as a Clinical Registrar, be eligible for registration with Medicare and hold Professional Indemnity Insurance. Other expected skills include strong skills in providing evidenced based therapeutic interventions and excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
