About the Role

Kirbys Pharmacy Waterloo is seeking a registered pharmacist to join our team for Saturday morning trade. This is a standalone shift ideal for a pharmacist looking for regular weekend hours in a busy, community-focused pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with legislative and professional requirements

• Provide clinical checks, patient counselling, and medication advice

• Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and dispensary technicians on shift

• Manage Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) dosing and administration in line with NSW Health guidelines and clinic protocols

• Handle S8 register checks, documentation, and compliance requirements

• Deliver excellent customer service and support front-of-store operations as needed

• Ensure the dispensary operates safely and efficiently during the shift

Essential Requirements

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist

• Demonstrated experience delivering Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) services (essential)

• Sound knowledge of S8 medication handling and record-keeping

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Ability to work independently during the shift

Not Required

• Vaccination administration/immunisation credentialing is not required for this role
