About the position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced boilermaker/ fabricator or 2nd-3rd year apprentice boilermaker to work predominantly in our Ormeau manufacturing plant and at times in the field.

In this position you will be responsible for manufacturing various goods (structural and light fabrication) to a high quality.

Skills and experience

Skill;

• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

• Ability to produce high quality fabrication with accuracy and unsupervised

• Ability to cut and process materials and carryout other work processes such as grinding, drilling, cropping using various tools and machinery

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• A positive "Can Do" attitude is highly important

• Well presented, punctual and reliable

• Strong communication skills

Experience;

• Fabrication installation/erection of structural steel and light fabrication

• Experience using mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel

• Must be willing to work over time, weekends on occasion

• Must have manual drivers license

• White / Blue Card

• Must be medically fit for the position - able to pass tests

Highly regarded;

• Sheet metal Experience

• Basic machining

• Confined Space, Working at Heights, Elevated work platform (Scissor / Boom), Forklift, First aid certificates

• White Card
