About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Boarding, the Boarding House Assistant plays an important role in supporting the wellbeing, safety and day-to-day life of our boarding students. Working as part of a dedicated Boarding House team, you will help create a welcoming, caring and well-organised environment where students feel supported, connected and at home.
This is a varied role that includes supervising students during study, recreational and social activities, providing pastoral care and guidance, assisting with the daily operation of the Boarding House, and supporting students to develop independence and positive relationships.
This is a casual, term-time role with shifts available across mornings, evenings, overnight stays and weekends. Accommodation is provided for overnight shifts, with meals supplied while on duty.

You are a caring, reliable and approachable person who enjoys working with young people. You have excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to build positive relationships with students while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. You are flexible, proactive and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
