Agia Projects is seeking a talented and experienced Full Time Formwork Carpenter to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a Formwork Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction of high-quality buildings and structures, ensuring that the concrete work is completed to the highest standards. What you'll be doing

• Constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork structures for concrete pouring

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents

• Selecting and using the appropriate tools and equipment for each task

• Ensuring that all formwork meets safety and quality standards

• Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate formwork installation and removal

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members

• The role will also include tasks such as metal works, joinery and other carpentry and construction tasks on site. Support and training will be provided where required.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Strong understanding of building construction methods and techniques

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Proficient in the use of power tools and carpentry equipment

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid construction safety certification (e.g., White Card)
