The company values safety, accuracy, and teamwork across all departments.Role Description The Accounts Payable Officer is a full-time, on-site role located in Cowra, NSW, responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable activities. This position involves processing supplier invoices, matching purchase orders, reconciling statements, and preparing payment runs in line with company policies and deadlines. The role includes maintaining accurate records, resolving invoice and payment queries with internal teams and external vendors, and supporting month-end closing tasks. The Accounts Payable Officer will collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with relevant financial procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.Qualifications Strong Finance and Accounting skills, with experience in accounts payable processes and reconciliation.Proficiency in Invoice Processing, including data entry, matching, and verification of supporting documentation.Effective Communication and Customer Service skills for working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Competence with accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and high attention to detail.Ability to work on-site, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Relevant qualification or training in finance, accounting, or business administration is desirable.Prior experience in manufacturing or food processing environments is an advantage but not essential.
