Communicaications Electrical Apprentice

About the role

You'll be involved in installing, maintaining, and commissioning a wide range of Communications and Electrical systems across commercial, industrial, mining, and government environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with radio and communications installations

• Data cabling and fibre optic infrastructure

• Electrical installations and maintenance

• Equipment assembly and workshop preparation

• Testing and fault finding of communications systems

• Working on critical communications networks

• Site-based and workshop-based projects

• Learning industry-leading technologies and systems

About you

• Genuine interest in communications, technology, electronics, or electrical trades

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Good problem-solving skills

• Ability to follow procedures and work safely

• Reliable and punctual

• Current driver's licence (or working towards obtaining one)

• White Card (or willingness to obtain)

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Experience with electronics, computers, radios, or networking (highly regarded)

• Trade pre-apprenticeship (highly regarded)
