What's on offer?

We are looking for an additional crew member to join our Asphalt Laying business within Fulton Hogan. You'll join a high-performing and supportive team, with access to ongoing career development and opportunities to progress within a successful and growing business.


We will look to you to:

• Support day-to-day site activities including manual labouring, pavement repairs, general maintenance tasks and safe operation near live traffic.
• Assist with site preparation, loading and unloading materials, traffic support, and housekeeping on site.
• The ability to operate mobile plant (e.g rollers, skid steers, heavy rigid trucks) would be advantageous.
• Work within tight deadlines in a timely manner to meet operational needs.
• Carry out equipment and machinery checks before use and report any faults or maintenance needs
• Take part in pre-start meetings and follow all safety, environmental, and quality processes

How you'll connect to the role:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Asphalting industry experience preferred but not essential.
• A current drivers licence and construction induction card required.
• A good safety focus/awareness, including the understanding of workplace documentation i.e. safe work method statements.
• Ability to build strong relationships, with both internal and external parties.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends and nights, and away from home base when required.
• Have a strong safety and environmental awareness.
