About the role
A casual, part-time household help role of approximately 9–12 hours per week, initially for a 3-month period with the possibility of extending by mutual agreement. This role suits someone who is comfortable both behind the wheel and around the house — a mix of driving and general home help.
Key responsibilities
Driving the children to and from school and activities, and occasionally driving the homeowner
General housekeeping — keeping the home clean and tidy
Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and changing linen
Washing up and keeping the kitchen tidy
Basic food preparation for the family
Other general household tasks as needed
About you
Current, valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
Comfortable driving either your own car or the family car
Current Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willing to obtain one before starting — required as duties involve transporting children
Previous experience in housekeeping, home help, nannying or similar highly regarded but not essential
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Own reliable transport to get to and from the home
