Part-Time Full Stack Developer (React / Supabase)

ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a talented and proactive Part-Time Full Stack Developer to join our team in-house for three days a week. You will take ownership of the newly developed connect.mycarespace.com.au platform, driving its ongoing maintenance, feature enhancement, and optimization.This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys taking ownership of a product, and is passionate about building technology that makes a tangible difference in people's lives.
QualificationsWe are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Frontend-heavy Developer. You should possess a deep understanding of React fundamentals, hooks, state management, and server-side rendering or static site generation with Next.js. Proven experience building applications with Supabase or similar Backend-as-a-Service platforms like Firebase is essential, particularly in designing complex database schemas and security policies.
Prior experience integrating and configuring Algolia for advanced search and filtering is highly desirable. You must have strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as you will need to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Finally, you should be highly self-motivated and capable of managing your own workload and priorities in a part-time capacity.
Technical StackYou must have strong, demonstrable experience with our core technologies. Our frontend is built with React.js and Next.js, and is deployed via Vercel. For our backend and database, we rely heavily on Supabase, utilizing its PostgreSQL database, Authentication, and Row Level Security features. Search functionality is powered by Algolia. The platform is styled using Tailwind CSS, and we use Git and GitHub for version control.
