Taxation and business services accountant

About the business

We are a small accountancy & taxation practice located by the beach at Brighton Le Sands, surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Majority of staff have been with the business for 10+ years.

The role

We are looking for a senior with at least three years experience to prepare financial statements, tax returns and business activity statements for a wide variety of clientele in a business services environment. May be required to oversee junior staff and assist with workflow management.

Skills and experience

CA, CPA or IPA qualified, with at least three years business services experience is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also essential. Experience in Sage/HandiSoft, MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks preferred, but not essential. Basic computer and IT skills are a must. Must be knowledgeable with current tax laws and have a willingness to stay abreast of future changes.
