Machine Operator - Plasma Cutting

We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Plate Profiling team in Milperra on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in plasma and/or oxy cutting who takes pride in producing quality work and is looking to build a long-term career within the steel industry.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in plasma and/or oxy cutting

• Ability to read technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)

• Working with Overhead Cranes (training provided if required)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review and pick jobs for the machine, ensuring the correct materials and specifications are prepared

• Set up and calibrate oxy and plasma cutting machines

• Load and unload steel materials for processing

• Program machines with appropriate cutting parameters

• Monitor cutting processes to ensure quality and efficiency

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment

• Ensure accuracy and quality of finished product
