Light Vehicle Mechanic / Road Tester / Quality Control

Sinclair Automotive is seeking a motivated and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic / Road Tester to join our growing team at our Kingswood dealership.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician who enjoys diagnosing vehicle concerns, carrying out repairs to a high standard, and ensuring customer vehicles are tested and returned in optimal condition.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.

• Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance.

• Conducting comprehensive road tests before and after repairs.

• Identifying vehicle concerns and accurately reporting findings.

• Carrying out vehicle inspections and quality control checks.

• Completing repair orders and service documentation accurately.

• Working collaboratively with Service Advisors and workshop staff.

• Following manufacturer repair procedures and workplace safety requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.

• Current NSW Driver Licence.

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

• Previous dealership experience (preferred but not essential).

• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• High attention to detail and commitment to workmanship.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• A positive attitude and strong team focus.
