Social Media & Events Coordinator

About the role

Hubsi Pty Ltd is seeking a talented and creative Social Media & Events Coordinator to join our marketing and communications team. This is a part-time position based in Perth, WA 6000. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence and coordinating engaging events that strengthen our brand identity and connect with our audience. You will play a crucial part in building our online community and creating memorable experiences that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok

• Creating, scheduling and publishing engaging content including images, videos, and copy that align with our brand voice and objectives

• Managing social media accounts and monitoring engagement metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for growth

• Responding to comments, messages and inquiries from followers in a timely and professional manner

• Planning, coordinating and executing company events, product launches and promotional activities

• Liaising with external vendors, venues and partners to ensure successful event delivery

• Managing event budgets, timelines and logistics to ensure events run smoothly

• Capturing event content and creating post-event reports with key performance indicators

• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure social media and events align with broader marketing campaigns

• Staying up to date with social media trends, platform updates and best practices in the industry

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in social media management or marketing coordination, ideally 1-3 years in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices, including content creation and community management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail

• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content ideas and campaigns

• Experience with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer or Meta Business Suite

• Proficiency in basic graphic design or video editing software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools

• Event coordination experience or demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

• Familiarity with digital marketing trends and the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the social media landscape

• A genuine passion for social media, digital marketing and creating compelling brand experiences

• Preferred: Experience using content management systems and basic understanding of SEO principles

• Preferred: Portfolio or examples of previous social media campaigns and event coordination work

What we offer

$59,211 pro-rata + Super, commensurate with experience (FTE $75,000). This role is part-time - approximately 30hours per week.
