If you’re an experienced bus driver looking for a role with predictable hours, genuine work-life balance and the chance to be part of a community, this could be a great fit. Trinity Lutheran College in Ashmore is looking for experienced Bus Drivers to join our team and become a trusted part of our school community.

This is more than simply getting passengers from A to B. You’ll get to know the students and families on your regular routes, help set a positive tone at the beginning and end of each school day, and play an important part in keeping our students safe.

Our private College bus service operates Monday to Friday during school terms, with approximately 28–32 hours per week across morning and afternoon routes. There are also opportunities for additional hours through school excursions, sporting events and other College activities.

About You

We’re looking for drivers who take pride in providing a safe, reliable and welcoming service and understand the trust families place in the person transporting their children each day.

You will:

• Hold a Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence and be confident driving 39–53 seat buses.

• Have previous bus-driving experience.

• Be reliable, organised and safety-focused.

• Enjoy working around children and young people and contribute positively to their school experience.

• Hold, or be willing and eligible to obtain, a QLD Working with Children (Blue Card).

• Hold, or be willing and eligible to obtain, the required Driver Authorisation.
