About the role

Superstock Food Services is seeking a full-time Warehouse Stores Person to join our dynamic warehouse operations team in Gnangara, WA. In this hands-on position, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our food distribution facility. As a key member of the warehousing and logistics function, you will ensure accurate stock management, timely order fulfilment, and the seamless flow of products throughout our distribution network. This role is essential to supporting our business operations and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Pick packing orders

• Receiving, checking, and logging incoming stock and deliveries into the warehouse management system

• Organising and storing products in designated locations, ensuring proper stock rotation and adherence to food safety standards

• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch in accordance with customer specifications and delivery schedules

• Conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records to identify discrepancies

• Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanning devices safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles whilst ensuring products are secured and protected

• Supporting the warehouse team with general housekeeping, stock replenishment, and other duties as required

• Reporting damaged goods, stock shortages, or equipment issues to management promptly

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre, or similar logistics environment

• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand scanners

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock management and record-keeping

• Physical fitness and capability to lift heavy items regularly, comply with manual handling guidelines

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, particularly in a food distribution setting

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent work standards

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification

• A current, valid driving licence is desirable
