Implementation Capability Lead

The Implementation Capability Lead is accountable for enabling consistently high-quality customer implementations through strong leadership of the Implementation Consultant team. The role strengthens delivery capability, operational discipline, and team performance while ensuring effective utilisation and sustainable team health.

The role is accountable for establishing the standards, discipline, and capability that enable consistent and predictable delivery outcomes, in partnership with Delivery Managers.

Through delivery standards, knowledge sharing, and strategic initiatives that improve ways of working, the Implementation Consultant Manager owns and advances the consistency, scalability, and effectiveness of configuration delivery across customer accounts.

The role is responsible for the following outcomes:

• Customer implementations are delivered with high configuration quality, consistency, and efficiency through clear standards, disciplined ways of working, and effective knowledge sharing across Implementation Consultant teams.
• Implementation Consultant capability and performance are strengthened through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management, building technical expertise, delivery discipline, sound judgement, and sustainable team health.
• Configuration delivery discipline and commercial alignment are embedded through clear standards and ways of working, ensuring work is delivered in line with agreed scope and estimates, reducing rework and enabling predictable delivery outcomes while supporting effective contribution to delivery planning and scope considerations.
• Strong operational visibility and resource coordination are maintained with utilisation, capacity, and team performance actively managed, and Implementation Consultants aligned with Delivery Managers to support cohesive and successful delivery across multiple engagements.
• Strategic delivery improvements are mobilised and embedded across Implementation Consultant teams, including evolving delivery standards, adoption of technologies such as AI, and continuous improvement of knowledge and ways of working, resulting in measurable improvements to delivery quality and execution.
• Comply with company policies and procedures on the handling of personal data, data confidentiality and information security.

The role requires the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience leading implementation or consulting teams within a delivery-focused professional services environment, including supporting multiple concurrent customer delivery engagements.
• Demonstrated experience driving execution discipline across delivery teams, improving adherence to scope, estimates, quality standards, and reducing delivery variability.
• Strong understanding of configuration-driven implementations, customer delivery lifecycles, and the practical challenges of delivering complex customer implementations.
• Strong capability in coaching, performance management, and developing high performing technical or consulting professionals, building accountable teams that consistently apply delivery discipline while maintaining sustainable performance and team health.
• Demonstrated experience improving delivery quality, standards, and ways of working across consulting or implementation teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance delivery quality, scope discipline, and delivery commitments within a consulting delivery environment.
