About the role

About the Company:

Salmon Earthmoving is part of the Sime Darby Industrial Group & is one of the largest heavy equipment rental companies in Australia. Salmon rents & supports a complete range of Caterpillar & other heavy machinery used in mining & constructions sectors, providing high quality plant for short- & long-term hire throughout Australia.

About The Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Articulated Haul Truck to join our operations team on one of our major projects in the Bowen Basin.

Key Responsibilities:

Hauling and tipping materials between excavated, stockpiling and dump areas
Work closely with other operators to maintain efficient production movement on site
Complete pre-start inspections and report any mechanical faults or safety concerns
Follow strict safety guidelines and ensure all tasks are completed to high safety standards
Collaborate with the team to optimise efficiency and project outcomes

We anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:

Demonstrated experience operating
RII Statement of Attainment for Articulated Haul Truck (essential) including current Standard 11
Current & valid Driver’s Licence
Strong understanding and reliability in adhering to site standards; safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.

The successful candidate must hold or be willing to obtain a Coal Board Medical Health Assessment

7/7 Roster | Dayshift (12.5hr shifts) | Camp accommodation whilst on roster
Preference for local candidates, but DIDO/FIFO options considered
