About the role
We're seeking a motivated Territory Manager to join our high-performing team. Based across the CBD, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, you'll drive sales and build strong customer relationships, supporting both existing customers and new business across the retail and on-premise channels.
At AV, our Territory Managers operate with a high level of autonomy. You’ll manage your territory like your own business, backed by structured training and development including a comprehensive onboarding program, sales training, and professional development opportunities.
Reporting to the NSW, ACT and QLD State Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing and growing existing on- and off-premise accounts with professionalism and commercial focus
Identifying and developing new business opportunities within your territory
Building strong product and industry knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service
Achieving and exceeding sales budgets and KPIs
Executing in-store standards, product placement, promotions and brand priorities
Conducting tastings and promotional activities to drive visibility and sales such as tastings and wine dinners
Maintaining accurate, timely reporting to track performance and inform decisions
What You’ll Bring
Strong organisational skills: Excellent planning and time management capabilities, with the ability to prioritise and execute effectively.
Drive and ambition: A results-focused mindset with the motivation to grow your territory and achieve commercial targets.
Relationship-building skills: Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting customer partnerships.
Ability to work autonomously: Comfortable managing your territory independently, thinking on your feet and solving problems proactively.
Sales experience: Previous Territory Manager experience within FMCG or the drinks industry is highly regarded.
