General Hand - Parks Services

The Shire of Harvey is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Parks Services team in a casual capacity. If you love working outdoors, take pride in your work and want a job with excellent variety, we want to hear from you!

Do you have?

• A green thumb and experience maintaining parks and gardens

• A horticulture qualification or the solid hands-on experience to match

• A White Card

This position is responsible for undertaking projects and tasks in the development and maintenance of the Shire’s parks, gardens, sporting ovals and other public infrastructure to set standards in a safe and efficient manner. Based on operational needs, this role will service the areas of Harvey, Brunswick and Australind.

Benefits and Conditions

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Municipal Employees’ (WA) Award 2021 with a salary payable for this position of Level 4 - $42.68 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading

A medical examination and a current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
