Hydraulic Fitter

The growing demand for our products and services has increased production and we are now seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join the team at our manufacturing facility in Bundaberg.

About the Role

Our Hydraulic Fitters assemble, fit, operate, test, fault-find and alter hydraulic components of our waste management equipment.  Duties include:

• Assemble, install, modify, maintain and repair hydraulic control testing units.

• Testing injection units and hydrostatic test units.

• Examine and test faulty hydraulic units and control systems and diagnose faults.

• Service and test hydraulic equipment on site.

• Following schematics and specifications when performing installations and fault finding.

• Completing all records and paperwork accurately.

About You

• Previous automotive or heavy vehicle manufacturing industry experience (desirable but not essential)

• Certificate III in Engineering (desirable)

• Testing and commissioning experience

• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail 

• Great problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues

• Commitment to safety and following standard work procedures
