The Role

Are you passionate about coffee, love creating a welcoming environment, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Internal Café Barista to become the heart of our Sydney office.

This is more than just making great coffee. You’ll be the friendly face of our internal café, building relationships with our people and visitors while making sure the café and office experience runs seamlessly.

About You

You’re someone who genuinely enjoys people. You’re warm, approachable and naturally customer-focused, with the confidence to build relationships across the office.

You’ll be at your best in a fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same. You’ll bring positive energy, initiative and a can-do attitude, while taking ownership of the café and making sure everyone feels welcome.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet staff and visitors with a friendly, positive attitude
• Build strong relationships with staff and become a familiar and welcoming face around the office
• Prepare high-quality coffee from start to finish
• Adjust and monitor the coffee grind daily to ensure the perfect brew
• Clean and maintain café equipment and ensure everything is operating efficiently
• Monitor inventory and manage café supply orders
• Prepare coffee in bulk for company events and functions
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Unpack catered lunches and keep the kitchen and café areas clean and organised
• Take ownership of the café and look for ways to continually improve the experience for our people

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• A genuine passion for coffee and customer service
• Previous barista experience is essential
• Reliable, trustworthy and comfortable taking ownership
• Comfortable standing, walking and bending for extended periods

• Location: Sydney
• Days: In office Monday to Friday 
• Hours: 7:30am - 4pm 
• Work Rights: You must have full Australian working rights. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates on Working Holiday Visas or other temporary work visas with restricted work rights.
