Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe transportation of general freight, palletised goods, and ready-mix concrete. This role requires precision maneuvering into complex construction sites and the professional handling of specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities

· Vehicle Operation: Safely operate and maneuverer heavy-rigid (HR) vehicles, including agitators and Hiab’s, into tight or unstable construction sites with minimal maneuvers.

· Freight Transport: Deliver quarry products, aggregates, and general freight to designated customer and project sites across Sydney and regional NSW.

· Technical Discharge: Operate truck-mounted hydraulic chutes, tipping devices, and hoisting equipment to unload materials safely and accurately.

· Maintenance & Hygiene: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections (brakes, tires, hydraulics). Maintain drum sanitation and vehicle cleanliness.

· Compliance: Adhere to all road traffic laws, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) protocols, and weight compliance (GVM) regulations.

· Documentation: Accurately maintain logbooks, delivery dockets, and batching certificates. Obtain authorized signatures for on-site deliveries.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Licensing: Valid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) Driver Licence.

· Experience: Minimum 1-year proven experience as a heavy truck driver (Construction, Quarrying, or Ready-mix experience preferred).

· Skills: Strong knowledge of load securing, hydraulic equipment operation, and Sydney/Regional NSW routes.

· Safety First: A dedicated commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) and professional customer service.

· Certification: Relevant Australian qualifications or licensing as required by transport regulations.
