Administration and Finance Manager - Westfield West Lakes - 9 month contract

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Administration (Finance) Manager to join our Westfield West Lakes destination on a fixed term contract.

This is a varied role, with a critical focus on finance, but with exposure to all aspects of centre management.

Day to day, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the development of the annual asset budgets, ensuring finances are managed to achieve budget outcomes.
• On-going analysis and management of centre profit and loss reports, including reviewing and processing monthly accruals and journals (including prepayments).
• Conducting accurate and timely analysis of financial risks and opportunities, in order to present recommendations to the Asset Team.
• Supporting our Regional Customer Experience Manager with analysis of state trends and national benchmark data.
• Conducting bi-monthly forecasting of budgets.
• Managing all centre daily banking, reconciliations, accounts payable, and the daily running of the office. 

This is a fixed term opportunity until June 2027, and as a part of our operational team, you will also have duty management responsibilities from time to time too, where you’ll be required to work a weekend shift (on a roster) which will be balanced with a day off in lieu.

This is an exciting role, where you will play a key role within Westfield West Lakes and gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of our centre. You will be a confident communicator, enjoy developing relationships and also have:

• An accounting background, including profit and loss, budgeting oversight
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen emphasis on precision and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
