Installer & Service Technician | Welshpool WA | Full-Time

Icepack is Australia's leading manufacturer of sleeper cab air conditioning systems for the road transport industry. We're looking for an experienced Installer & Service Technician to join the Western Air Icepack Services team.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical and auto electrical skills who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys solving technical problems.

Working from our Welshpool workshop, you'll be responsible for installing, servicing and repairing our sleeper cab air conditioning systems on a wide range of trucks. Every installation is different, providing plenty of variety and opportunities to utilise your technical expertise.

You'll also work directly with customers to diagnose faults, provide technical advice and ensure every vehicle leaves our workshop to the highest standard.

• Install ICEPACK sleeper cab air conditioning systems on a variety of truck makes and models

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults

• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance

• Provide technical support to customers and assist the sales team when required

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Any experience in automotive, heavy vehicle or auto electrical fields

• Mechanical and electrical skills

• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

• The ability to work independently and manage your workload

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A current driver's licence (truck licence advantageous but not essential)
