Skid Steer and Excavator Operators

ABM Landscaping is seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator and Skid Steer Operators to join our team working across landscaping and civil construction projects. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced operator who takes pride in safe, accurate and high-quality work.

 About the Role

• Operate excavators and skid steers across landscaping and civil works projects.

• Carry out site preparation, earthworks, trenching, backfilling, loading and clean-up.

• Work safely around other team members, machinery, vehicles, overhead and underground services.

• Complete daily machine checks and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.

• Assist with general labouring duties when required to keep projects moving

• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to deliver quality outcomes on time.

 What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience operating excavators and skid steer loaders.

• Experience in landscaping, civil construction, earthworks or similar works.

• Experience with GPS beneficial but not necessary, training can be provided to the right candidate

• Current White Card and relevant machine tickets

• Current driver’s licence; HR or MR licence will be highly regarded.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and equipment care.

• Able to use a tablet proficiently for daily reporting

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

• Ability to pass a full medical and drug and alcohol screen.
