About the role
Role DescriptionWe are looking for an organized, hands-on, and results-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory. The role is responsible for coordinating receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, inventory control, and warehouse processes while maintaining high standards of productivity, accuracy, and service quality.Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating daily warehouse activities, allocating manpower and resources, monitoring inventory movements, and ensuring accurate receiving and dispatch procedures. The Warehouse Manager will supervise warehouse operations, monitor team performance, maintain effective workflows, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.The role also involves conducting inventory checks, investigating stock discrepancies, optimizing warehouse layouts and processes, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and cost efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with procurement, logistics, sales, finance, and other teams to ensure timely order fulfillment, accurate inventory records, and smooth supply chain operations.QualificationsStrong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.Knowledge of receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, stock control, and order fulfillment.Ability to plan and coordinate warehouse activities and effectively allocate manpower and resources.Strong inventory control and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to accuracy.Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, barcode systems, or inventory management software.Good understanding of warehouse safety, equipment handling, storage standards, and workplace procedures.Strong leadership, team coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to monitor operational KPIs, analyze performance, and implement process improvements.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other tools for inventory tracking and operational reporting.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Ability to respond effectively to operational issues and unexpected changes.Proactive and practical mindset with a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, safety, cost control, and continuous improvement.High level of accountability, reliability, and attention to detail.
