First Line Engineering is seeking a First Year Apprentice Boilermaker to join our growing team and begin their trade within the structural steel fabrication industry.

First Line Engineering is a structural steel fabrication and installation company delivering commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects throughout South East Queensland. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, safety, and delivering projects on time.

The Role

Working within our Yatala workshop and alongside experienced tradespeople, you will:

• Learn structural steel fabrication and welding techniques.
• Assist with the fabrication of structural steel components.
• Learn to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Use workshop tools and equipment under supervision.
• Assist with grinding, preparation and general fabrication activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment.
• Complete your Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade as part of your apprenticeship.

• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable transport to and from our Yatala workshop.

Previous workshop or construction experience is beneficial but not essential.
