About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-focused Senior Joinery Detailer to join the team at Lot 4 Joinery. This role is the critical link between design and manufacturing—translating site measures and architectural plans into highly accurate shop drawings and production-ready files. You will ensure that every project is engineered flawlessly to flow smoothly onto the factory floor and out to site.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed, highly accurate shop drawings for client, architect, and builder sign-off

• Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and on-site check measures

• Generate precise cut lists, hardware schedules, and CNC machine files for the production team

• Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure designs meet client expectations and budget constraints

• Provide clear assembly and installation plans for the factory floor and on-site install teams

• Communicate effectively with builders and internal teams to resolve any technical or design issues before production begins

• Continuously improve and maintain our drafting software libraries and standard operating procedures

• Ensure all detailing aligns with Lot 4 Joinery's manufacturing capabilities and quality standards

What You’ll Bring

• High attention to detail and a solution-focused, highly analytical mindset

• Proficiency in joinery drafting software (e.g., Cabmaster, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Pytha, or AutoCAD)

• A strong understanding of joinery construction methods, hardware, and materials

• Previous experience in joinery/cabinet making necessary

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously while supporting the wider production and coordination teams
