About the Role:

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our Brisbane People and Culture team. In this role, you will work alongside another Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies and deliver a positive candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding and mobilisation. You will support recruitment activity across advertising, sourcing, screening, pre-employment checks, letters of offer, contracts, HR administration and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide recruitment guidance and advice.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment activity, including advertising, sourcing, screening, assessing and candidate communication.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks, letters of offer, contracts, onboarding, mobilisation and relocation requirements.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data in HR systems and prepare reporting to support workforce planning and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to recruitment marketing, sourcing initiatives and candidate experience improvements across the business.
• Contribute to ATS system improvements to streamline recruitment workflows, reporting and the overall candidate experience.

About You:

This ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience, ideally within high-volume, blue-collar or mining-related environments.
• Confidence partnering with hiring managers, building strong relationships and providing practical recruitment advice.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with an interest in improving recruitment processes, systems and candidate experience.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, clear and empathetic communication with candidates, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms; SuccessFactors experience will be highly regarded.
• An understanding of recruitment marketing channels such as SEEK, LinkedIn and relevant job boards.
