ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Joii People is a Queensland-based certified social enterprise and licensed labour hire provider. We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist construction client operating at the leading edge of 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) technology in Southeast Queensland.

This is one of only a handful of operations advancing this emerging construction method in Australia — and we are looking for an experienced engineering professional to join the team as their Advanced Construction Technology Engineer / Digital Construction Engineer / Construction Innovation Engineer / Emerging Construction Technology Specialist.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional — including those returning from retirement or seeking a purposeful full time engagement or engineering students or new graduates — to apply deep technical expertise in a field that is genuinely reshaping the construction industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

•  Set up, operate, and program specialist industrial 3D Concrete Printing machinery

•  Write and maintain software interfaces between the 3DCP system and other applications

•  Work on-site alongside an experienced concrete specialist to deliver printing projects

•  Contribute to the continuous improvement of 3DCP processes and workflows

•  In time, develop and deliver training programs for new operators and users of 3D concrete printing technology — becoming a key knowledge leader in this space

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Highly Desirable

•  Software engineering skills — including the ability to understand the technical workings of automated and robotic construction machinery

•  Machine programming capability and ability to write interfaces to external systems

•  Hands-on, practical approach — comfortable working on active construction sites

•  Structural engineering background

•  Construction engineering experience

Also Considered

•  Mechanical engineering background with transferable technical skills
