Experienced Carpenter- Residental Renovations

MW Homes Pty Ltd is a well-established family-run renovation business specialising in high-quality kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovations throughout Melbourne's eastern suburbs. We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work on a range of residential renovation projects and will be responsible for:

• Performing general domestic carpentry works.

• Constructing, modifying and installing timber frameworks, stud walls, doors and other structural components.

• Interpreting and working from plans and specifications.

• Carrying out demolition and renovation works as required.

• Installing cavity sliding doors, wall niches and other custom features.

• Re-sheeting rooms and completing finishing and fit-off carpentry works.

• Coordinating material orders and collection from suppliers.

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with workplace safety requirements.

• Liaising professionally with clients, suppliers and other trades.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A relevant trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent.

• At least 2 years' experience in residential carpentry and renovation work.

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

• Current driver's licence.
