Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Site Project Engineer - SMP to join our team on major Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) projects.

This is a permanent, site-based opportunity working directly with project teams to support the safe, efficient and successful delivery of major infrastructure and pipeline projects throughout Western Australia.

About the Role

Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, Supervisors and engineering teams, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of SMP works from mobilisation through to project completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day engineering activities on site
• Supporting project planning, scheduling and delivery
• Coordinating engineering activities with construction teams and subcontractors
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Preparing technical queries, RFIs and engineering deliverables
• Monitoring project progress, costs, risks and quality
• Supporting progress reporting, claims and variations
• Coordinating procurement and material requirements
• Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and standards
• Providing technical support to supervisors and site personnel
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficient project delivery
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical, Civil or Mechatronics
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer within SMP, pipelines, mining, resources or infrastructure
• Strong understanding of construction and engineering processes
• Experience working in a site-based project environment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and documentation
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with construction and project teams
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
