Asset and Project Manager

About the role

The Asset & Project Manager will provide leadership, partnership, and guidance to develop Bonney Energy's capability in asset management and project delivery with a focus on sustained growth and performance delivery.

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, asset owners and subject matter experts to develop effective asset management practices, optimise maintenance programs, and support the successful delivery of asset-related projects.

A key outcome of this role will see projects delivered safely and on time, within budget and to the required standard, while building the skills, knowledge, and capability of our people.

You will also play a vital role in leading change across the organisation, supporting teams to implement Asset Improvement plans and embed sustainable improvements that align with Bonney Energy's strategic plan.

Your role will be based out of our Quioba offices in Devonport however interstate travel to Victoria will be required periodically

Key responsibilities

• Developing and strengthening Bonney Energy's Asset Management and Project Delivery capability.

• Providing leadership, guidance and practical support to internal teams and external partners.

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and optimise maintenance programming and schedules across all Retail and OPT locations.

• Developing, reviewing, and maintaining Asset Management Plans in collaboration with asset owners and the broader Bonney Energy team.

• Leading, coordinating and overseeing asset-related projects from planning through to completion.

• Ensure all asset and project activities are delivered safely on time and within approved budgets.

• Leading the development and implementation of Asset Improvement plans.

• Leading and supporting change management initiatives across the organisation.

• Identifying opportunities to improve asset reliability, performance, utilisation, and lifecycle management.

• Developing project scopes, plans, budgets, schedules, and risk controls across the network.

 About you

• Demonstrated experience in Asset Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Experience developing and implementing Asset Management plans, improvement programs, or maintenance strategies.

• Proven experience successfully managing projects from planning through to completion.

• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, risk management, and governance.

• Experience collaborating with operational teams, contractors, and external service providers.

• Demonstrated ability to influence, engage, and build strong stakeholder relationships.

• Strong change management and continuous improvement capability.

• Excellent communication and people skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• A current Australian Driver's Licence.
