Ramsay's Graduate Program is a structured pathway that supports your transition from graduate to confident, skilled practitioner. Our program is delivered over two distinct stages; 

• Year 1: Explore Your Potential: Gain diverse experience through rotations in various clinical settings, including medical, surgical, mental health, perioperative care, maternity and critical care. Discover your passions and build a strong foundation of clinical skills.
• Year 2: Focus Your Expertise: Tailor your development year to your chosen specialty, receiving dedicated mentoring and support to refine your skills and advance your career.

As a specialist rehabilitation and mental health hospital, you'll gain valuable experience supporting patients throughout their recovery journey while developing your clinical skills and confidence. You'll also have the opportunity to experience rotations in a variety of clinical specialties across multiple hospitals within the Ramsay Newcastle network including: Lake Macquarie Private Hospital, Berkeley Vale Private Hospital & Ramsay Surgical Centre Charlestown. 

• Have completed or are on track to complete your Diploma in Nursing. 
• Eligible for AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse by February 2027
• Hold valid Australian work rights.
