Liebherr-Australia Hose Production has been manufacturing high pressure hose assemblies in the Adelaide Head Office (based in Para Hills West) complex since 1999, and is situated in our 12,000m2 state-of-the-art National Distribution Centre facility with a dedicated assembly production team.
About the Role:
The Hose Manufacturer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant manufacture of hydraulic hoses, including high‑pressure hose fabrication, quality control, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
This role provides excellent exposure to manufacturing operations, with training provided, making it a great opportunity to learn new skills and build a long‑term career in the industry.
This is a hands‑on, active role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and being on the move throughout the day. Some tasks involve team lifting and physical activity, making it a great fit for people who like staying fit and engaged at work.
Skills and Duties:
Manufacturing and assembling high‑pressure hydraulic hoses.
Wrapping, labelling, and packing completed products for shipment.
Using basic hand tools and power tools to complete allocated tasks.
Assisting with basic production‑related administrative tasks, including ordering spare parts and consumables as required.
Using basic measurement and inspection tools to check quality and accuracy, ensuring finished work meets company and industry standards.
Maintaining and caring for production equipment while ensuring a clean, organised, and safe workplace.
Experience:
Previous experience in a hands‑on, physically active role (1–2 years preferred).
Certificate II in Engineering (Mechanical) or Certificate II in Process Manufacturing is ideal but not mandatory.
High Risk Forklift is ideal but not mandatory.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical specifications, and manuals is an advantage.
