About the Role

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you’ll help lead the team, drive high standards across food quality, service, safety and cleanliness, and contribute to strong commercial performance. As part of the team, you’ll also help train our crew and set the culture and standards that every future El Jannah will be measured against.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading from the front and building a positive, high-performing team culture. Whether you’re an experienced Assistant Manager, a Shift Leader ready for more responsibility, or a senior team member ready to step up, this is a rare opportunity to grow with a brand that invests in its leaders, from day one in a brand-new state.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading daily restaurant operations
• Championing the EJ Way and a guest-first culture, ensuring consistently high service standards
• Leading, coaching and developing team members
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management
• Overseeing food safety, cleanliness and WHS standards
• Managing stock levels, deliveries and inventory controls
• Helping drive sales, manage costs and deliver against restaurant KPIs
• Building strong team engagement and a positive, inclusive workplace

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years’ experience in a QSR or fast-paced hospitality environment
• Proven experience leading or supporting teams in a leadership role
• Strong communication and people leadership skills
• A calm, confident approach and the ability to lead under pressure
• Sound understanding of food safety, WHS and operational compliance
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A genuine passion for food, people and guest experience
• Availability to work flexible rosters, including evenings, weekends and the busy summer season
