Medical Reception

We are seeking a friendly, professional and well presented Medical Receptionist to join our growing Specialist Medical Clinic

Location: Mulgrave & Berwick

Hours: Part Time (3 days per week)

$30-$35 p/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.

• Manage check-in and check-out processes and update patient details.

• Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently and courteously.

• Process and triage incoming patient referrals.

• Preparation and running of consulting clinics in Mulgrave & Berwick locations.

• Billing and processing payments for Private, WC & TAC Consultations.

• End of day banking.

• Prepare and maintain patient files and documentation accurately.

• Provide administrative support to the practice management and clinical team.

• Opening & closing clinic as required.

• Maintain a tidy and organised reception, waiting and staff room area.

• Preparation, stocking & tidying of consulting rooms.

• Assist with stock control and general office duties as required.

About You

• Previous experience in a medical, allied health or dental reception role.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational and multitasking ability.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach.

• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new medical software.

• Ability to handle confidential information with care and discretion.

What We Offer

• Permanent Part Time (Mon, Wed & Fri) with shifts between 8.00am & 5.30pm. No public holiday or weekend work. Occasional additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the clinic and to cover Staff Leave.
