About the role
We are a growing 6 Partner CBD chartered accounting practice located in a new modern office close to Martin Place Station.

The OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Accountant with 4–8+ years of experience in the provision of business services, financial and accounting services, and advisory. You will manage a portfolio of clients with interests across a variety of industries including property development, strata management, aged care, wholesale, retail & investments.
Key ResponsibilitiesProviding compliance services, including preparation of management reports, financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS and FBT Returns, for individual, partnership, company, trust and superfund clients.Participate in client account management and meetings, including direct contact with clients and an opportunity to develop client relationships.Identify and contribute to value-add opportunities through compliance work, e.g. tax planning, forecasting, virtual CFO.Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASICWork with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocated.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Education & Experience4-8+ years of experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice in AustraliaBusiness / Commerce / Finance degree with Accounting MajorCA or equivalent, completed or near completion.
Skills and attributesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailProactive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiasticCommitted to providing exceptional service to our clientsPassionate about leveraging AI and new technologies to improve efficiency and drive continuous business improvementTech-savvy with practical skills across Microsoft 365, XPM, Xero, MYOB, and advanced Excel skills
