Sales Area Manager

About the role

Ducati is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Area Sales Manager to support the continued growth of the Ducati brand across an assigned territory. In addition to managing and developing the established dealer network, this role will play a key part in Ducati's exciting expansion into the off-road segment, helping to shape a new chapter for one of the world's most iconic motorcycle brands.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening dealer partnerships, and identifying new opportunities for growth across both traditional and emerging markets. Success in this role will require a combination of strong commercial acumen, relationship-building capability, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop Ducati's dealer network across the assigned territory
• Deliver retail and wholesale sales targets for motorcycles, accessories, apparel, and related products
• Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and dealer performance to identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with dealers to develop and execute effective sales and marketing plans
• Monitor dealership KPIs and provide recommendations to improve business performance
• Support dealer stock management, forecasting, and order planning activities
• Ensure consistent application of Ducati brand standards and customer experience expectations
• Conduct regular dealer visits to review performance, provide coaching, and strengthen business relationships
• Identify opportunities for network expansion and dealer development
• Coordinate with internal departments including Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Aftersales to support business objectives

About you

• Minimal 5 years' experience working in Sales, Dealer development in the Motorcycle, Automotive or FMCG industry
• Tertiary qualifications in business management or similar business studies
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP)
• Entrepreneurial, problem solving and analytical skills
• Good presentation and communication skills
