An exciting opportunity is available within Digitally Enabled Business Solutions for an experienced Principal Business Analyst to provide expertise and undertake specialised program/project activities to enable the successful delivery of a large scale, and complex ICT programs of work. Delivery Services Branch, eHealth Queensland is leading a program of work to address gaps in Queensland Health’s referral system through the Quality Information System (QiS2) Renewal Project. this key role is required to ensure effective business analysis, stakeholder engagement, requirements management, and timely delivery of key project outcomes
The role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Principal Business Analyst will support the delivery of the Quality Information System (QiS2) Renewal Project by leading business analysis activities associated with the successful definition, design and implementation of the Quality Information System (QiS2) Renewal Project
The role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Hospital and Health Services, General Practitioners, policy advisors, enterprise architecture teams, and clinical system vendors, to gather requirements, analyse current and future state processes, identify business impacts and support decision-making. Additionally, you will contribute to an effective customer focused team and work collaboratively to initiate, influence, and maintain relationships between internal and external stakeholders.

We are seeking a skilled Principal Business Analyst with demonstrated experience in analysing business processes and statewide policies, eliciting and documenting business requirements, and supporting the delivery of project outcomes in complex stakeholder environments.
You will have strong consultation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across clinical, operational, technical and policy teams to understand current practices, identify risks, gaps and impacts, and define practical future-state solutions.
You will be highly organised, analytical and able to translate complex policy, operational and technical requirements into clear business documentation and recommendations. Experience working within digital health, healthcare policy, healthcare integration, government or regulated environments will be highly regarded, particularly where legislative compliance, governance and system interoperability are key considerations.
