About the RoleEntry level role reporting to the Demand Planner, you will work closely with production, sales, finance, procurement and nursery teams to develop and maintain accurate production plans that support business growth and customer service outcomes.You will be responsible for analysing forecasts, managing production schedules, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate planning data across the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse sales forecasts and adjust production plans accordinglyDevelop and maintain sowing, transplanting and production schedulesMonitor inventory levels and identify shortages or excess stockSupport the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processMaintain accurate master data, BOMs and planning filesCoordinate production allocations and timing requirementsAssist with stocktake investigations and inventory accuracyProvide planning support across production and operational teamsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
About YouYou will be an analytical and detail-oriented planner who enjoys working with data and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.To be successful you will have:1 to 2 years experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing planning or inventory managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience using ERP or MRP systemsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsFMGC or food industry experience desirable
