Medical Receptionist - Casual

We are seeking an adaptable and admin savvy Medical Receptionist who is patient focused and highly motivated to join our friendly, supportive team at Springfield Central!

The Opportunity:

My Medical Centre Springfield Orion currently has a casual opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to work at our Springfield Central practice. This role will be casual,  with the potential for increased shifts for the right candidate. This role would be ideal for someone looking for weekend work, 1–2 weekday shifts and additional hours to help cover staff holiday rosters. Immediate start is available however we are willing to wait for the right individual.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS AN ADVANTAGE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL AS TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED!

About You:

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• Previous medical reception experience is an advantage - not essential as training will be provided!

• Flexibility to work weekends

• Exceptional customer care and customer service skills

• A genuine, warm and engaging personality and ability to build rapport with patients and team

• Positive attitude

• Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges and opportunities, working within a team

• Outstanding communication

• Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility

• Ability to multi-task and prioritise

• A strong work ethnic

• Attention to detail

• Good computer and communication skills

• Ability to stay calm and organised in a busy environment

• First Aid / CPR and National Police Check is required, or willing to obtain.
