Lead Educator | 2 years' experience

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Diploma Lead Educator to join our passionate team at our Grow Early Education Park Ridge centre!

Permanent Part Time contract with guaranteed work Monday to Friday, any shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm (37.5 hours per week) on a rotating system.

About your new role:

• Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assist in leading a classroom by effectively engaging with children, families, Educators, and the wider community.

• You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.

• Work at all times in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards.

• Network with relevant stakeholders in the local community.

• Build strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.

• Contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests, and include a clear cycle of reflective practice.

About you:

• Diploma qualification in ECEC or Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.

• 2 years' experience as a Lead Educator

• Current blue card, approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.

• Experience in an early childhood setting.

• A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF. 

• Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.

• The ability to observe and record children’s learning and contribute to their educational portfolios.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
