Experienced Casual Warehouse Storeperson

Two weekdays per week | 5–6 hours per day | $40 per hour plus super

We are looking for an experienced, reliable Warehouse Storeperson to join our team on a casual basis.

This position may particularly suit an experienced warehouse professional seeking a steady, flexible role later in their career. It offers regular weekday hours, independent responsibility and the opportunity to remain active while contributing valuable practical experience.

Hours

Initially, the position will involve:

• Two days per week
• Approximately 5–6 hours per day
• Days to be selected from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday by mutual agreement
• Additional hours when assistance is required to unload containers

Key responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders for the following week
• Perform cyclic stock counts and maintain accurate stock records
• Organise stock and maintain an orderly warehouse
• Identify and report low-stock items
• Operate a forklift safely when required
• Assist with unloading containers
• Help maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse storeperson or similar role
• A current forklift licence and practical forklift-operating experience
• Sound judgment and the ability to make sensible decisions independently
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Good stock-control and organisational skills
• A dependable, responsible and safety-conscious attitude
• The physical capacity to remain active and safely perform light lifting
• The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Pay and classification

• $40 per hour, including casual loading
• Superannuation paid in addition
• Applicable overtime and penalty rates paid in accordance with the relevant award
• Indicative classification: Storeworker Grade 3 under the Storage Services and Wholesale Award 2020 (MA000084)
