Medical Recptionist

About the role

A Medical Receptionist position in a busy medical practice in Maribyrnong. This is a casual position to start, approximately 2 days per week, with the opportunity to move into a permanent part-time position in the future.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service

• Answering phones and managing patient enquiries

• Booking and managing appointments

• Processing payments and Medicare claims

• General reception and administrative duties

• Working as part of a supportive team

About you

• Friendly, professional and approachable

• Reliable and well organised

• Confident working in a busy medical reception environment

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Experienced with Best Practice software an advantage

• Flexible and available to cover staff annual leave and sick days when required

• Previous medical reception experience is highly regarded
