About the opportunity
This vacancy is for a passionate and skilled Andrologist to join the NSW Health Pathology Clinical Andrology laboratory team at the Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick. The position offers an opportunity to work in a world-class fertility center, providing comprehensive and high-quality diagnostic Andrology and oncology sperm banking services to internal and external clinics, as well as private doctors. The team values high customer engagement, staff safety, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate should have experience in reproductive biology, a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. The laboratory services are dedicated to supporting oncology patients, with responsibilities including semen analysis, sperm DNA integrity testing, cryopreservation, and preparation for assisted reproduction. Professional growth and development are encouraged, with opportunities to participate in training and quality improvement efforts.
The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Saturday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, including occasional overtime and on-call duties. Be a part of a helping the community.
What you'll be doing
Responsible for delivering a range of operational laboratory activities including the coordination and provisions of scientific and technical training and the ongoing review, development and quality management of laboratory practices to ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures, quality standards and continual process improvement.
