Matchday & Customer Experience Crew

About the role

This is your chance to be at the heart of the Melbourne City FC matchday experience.

As a member of the Matchday & Customer Experience Crew, you'll be working to create memorable matchday experiences for fans. You'll welcome members and guests, support families and children, and work as a team to deliver well presented and professionally operated match days.

What you'll be doing

There are a number of facets to this role, including:

• Welcoming patrons and assisting with queries relating to seating, facilities, catering, activities and match day information

• Supporting member activities like competitions and giveaways

• Participate in setup, delivery and pack down of event equipment

Some selected crew members will also be trained in membership sales to:

• Promote and sell membership and ticketing packages

• Respond to membership enquiries

• Support membership campaigns and promotional activities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 18 years old

• Confident and comfortable engaging with children, families and members of the public

• Ability to remain calm, helpful and professional in a fast-paced environment

• Physically capable of manual duties, including lifting and moving equipment

• Reliable and punctual

• Current Victorian Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Current First Aid certificate (desirable but not essential)

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or events (desirable but not essential)
